Product of the Month
Looking for a perfect hand cream to live near your kitchen or bathroom sink this winter? Look no further - this stuff is the best hand cream I’ve ever used.
I don’t really use a lot of Neutrogena products (I’m more of an Aveeno / Eucerin girl myself), but I discovered this when I was living in Vermont a few years back. The temperatures were consistently in the negatives, meaning my fingertips were consistently cracked.
This is a wonderful alternative to Vaseline or Aquaphor - it’s a light ointment (that may be an oxymoron, but a true oxymoron), formulated with 40% glycerin - but it’s more rapidly absorbed than Vaseline and Aquaphor, making it an ideal hand cream.
If you’re in the medical field, are a frequent hand washer or sanitizer user, live in a bitter cold / harsh climate, or are prone to eczema or dry skin, this is a MUST for you. Even if you don’t necessarily suffer from dry hands or fingertips, this stuff will make your hands SUPER smooth. These would make cute & functional stocking stuffers as well (you can buy a 6-pack on Amazon for $22!).
Awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance
Comes in Fragrance Free and Original Scent (I have never purchased the scented one, so can’t comment on it…)
“A dab will do” - over 200 uses from the small 2 OZ. tube (lasts forever!)
Non-greasy, rapidly absorbable formula
Ultra-healing, effective & affordable
Does contain parabens
This stuff is a “Top Seller” item on Amazon, has over 1,200 reviews (86% gave a 5-star rating), and has an overall 4.8/5 rating. If you’re extra dry & cracked, I recommend coating your hands in this stuff and sleeping with white cotton gloves (or cotton socks, if you don’t have cotton gloves) - and when you wake up, your hands will be softer than a baby’s bottom, guaranteed.
